Care
Washing: Strictly dry clean only. Never hand wash or machine wash. Water may damage the net, distort the gathered gharara and tarnish the metallic dabka and tilla. Perfume: Keep perfume, deodorant and hairspray away from the garment. Chemicals and alcohol can oxidise the metallic work and dull the pearls. Ironing: Professional steaming is highly recommended. If ironing at home, use the lowest heat strictly on the reverse side and never iron over the embroidery. Storage: Store folded flat rather than hung. Wrap in soft unbleached muslin or acid-free tissue to protect the georgette, metallic work and delicate net dupatta.
